The colors work very well in your map, the road and segregation lines are really clear but not overwhelming. The background looks very good as well. My suggestion would be to make the image in the extent window bigger.
It's not clear to me what the lines on your map represent without having to read the explanation. Can you include a legend?
Also your labels are difficult to read.
And the north arrow in your second data frame isn't actually pointing north. You will need to either adjust the coordinate system of the second data frame or adjust the direction of your north arrow.
